The Music Director coordinates musical aspects of worship and music development at North Lonsdale United Church (NLUC). In his or her capacity as the point person for music ministry, s/he will work alongside the (Lead) Minister by leading and coordinating the music team on most Sundays. Weekly setlists/hymn selections and occasional special music pieces are at the discretion of the Minister (who oversees liturgical decisions), in collaboration with the Music Director (who oversees musical/technical feasibility & preparation). S/he is also responsible for training and empowering music ministry volunteers.
