ANGEL TREE 2024

Our Angel Tree is up in the lobby and shining in remembrance!

Christmas can be a time when we think about, and miss, people who are no longer with us.  For many years, North Lonsdale United Church has lit a special Angel Tree of remembrance in the church lobby at Christmas time.  A book is available where people can write the names of their loved ones to be remembered.  People often donate in memory of a loved one to help light the Angel Tree and support our church and ministries.

This year, we are again able to offer a gift of thanks to those who make a donation, so that you can have an ornament of remembrance to hang in your home:

  • For donations up to $50, a glass feather ornament will be gifted.
  • For donations over $50, a feather wings ornament will be gifted.

The easiest way to make a donation online is by clicking the button above. On each of the remaining Sundays in December following the service, a table will be set up to collect in-person donations and to give out ornaments. You can also come to the office during office hours to donate and/or collect an ornament.

Alternatively, if you'd like to donate via e-Tranfer (sent to office@nluc.org), please just add "Angel Tree" in the subject/memo line.

Ornaments will be available for pick-up as quantities last. Unfortunately, we can’t mail ornaments due to the cost and their fragile nature.

The last day donations can be accepted is Sunday, December 29th after the service.
