Do you have questions about Christianity? Are you wondering what it means to put your faith in Jesus and to follow him? Do you consider yourself a Christian, but have not yet been baptized? Would you like to go deeper in your faith and become an official member of the Church? Alpha is designed to give you space to question, to build relationships, and to encounter God.
If you're 13+ and answered "yes" to any of the questions above, this year's Alpha course for you! Together, we’ll explore our heritage of faith, share our personal stories of what it means to us to follow Jesus, and learn about the privileges and responsibilities involved in becoming a member of Christ’s Church in a local congregation.
Interested in Baptism? Alpha also helps to build a solid foundation from which many people choose to receive the sacrament of (Believer’s) Baptism. Were you baptized as an infant or child and now feel like you're ready to make your faith your own? Is it time to make a public profession of your faith? In our tradition, Confirmation is the rite through which those baptized as infants or children are admitted into full Church membership. Or, were you Confirmed many years ago but have recently renewed your decision to follow Christ? Reaffirmation of Faith in our tradition is a way we celebrate this recommitment to God.
