Youth
We Are:
- A group of people committed to provide safe opportunities for youth to find a ‘place’ amongst our community and in Mission with Christ
- A Christ-centered congregation that is seeking to find ways God can use us to make a difference in our community and in the world
- A warm, active and caring ‘family’ that strives to be a safe place for people of all ages to question, develop and grow in their faith
The NLUC Youth Ministry strives to provide and facilitate regular, meaningful and successful youth and pre-teen activities in the church and in our community, and also to foster, develop and facilitate youth-driven initiatives.
NLUC Children, Youth and Family Ministry Program for the Summer
We hope that you will join us over the summer! Come, relax and enjoy the worship, the message and the company. New this summer! Look for activity bins stationed at the entrance of the sanctuary. Children and youth are welcome to choose any of the activity packs to bring into the service with them.
Book Bin – A changing selection of colouring, sticker and story books
Busy Packs – Themed activity packs for primary ages
Challenge Packs – Activity packs for youth
Nursery Option – We love to have babies, young children and families in our service! Parents with young children are also welcome to visit the nursery to relax or play there if they prefer. Our nursery room has a TV monitor viewing of the service and is down the stairs beside the Duncan Hall. Ask one of our hosts to show you the way!
Meet our new Youth Leader Amy Jacobson.
She says:I define myself as a new Christian, ready to learn more about God and what it means to be spiritual in today’s world. I am excited and dedicated to leading the youth of North Lonsdale United on their religious and life pathways. Although we are a new group, we work on building bonds and strengthening ourselves toward our full spiritual potential. We encourage each other, and our community, actively to participate in the caring Christian lifestyle.
