Pastoral Care Committee
The aim of the Pastoral Care committee is not so much to manage as to facilitate the caring that happens from within our congregation. We care for one another in many different ways and facilitate this caring by communicating the needs and finding the appropriate carers to fit the need. It is our vision not only to care for our own members but to reach out to the wider community, extending Christ’s love to whomever we may encounter.
We coordinate with the prayer ministry team who lets us know of people in need of care. We in turn join with our pray’ers in holding those people and those circumstances in prayer.
We are the body of Christ. It is in being Christ to others that we are able to show God’s heart to the world.
